Vivaldi’s Gloria

A rare chance to hear this beloved masterpiece as Vivaldi intended. Exuberant trumpet, soaring voices, and period instruments reveal radiance and brilliance rarely heard in modern performance.

The program pairs the Gloria with Bach’s rarely-heard Lutheran Mass in G minor and Heinichen’s sparkling Concerto in G Major. From intimate lyricism to grand choral brilliance, this is the full splendor of the Baroque.
