About Us

The Voices of Disability Film Showcase is a cultural initiative dedicated to celebrating the creativity, resilience, and perspectives of people with disabilities through the power of film. This showcase amplifies stories often left untold, providing a platform for disabled filmmakers, actors, and storytellers to share authentic narratives that challenge stereotypes and inspire social change.

Mission

To use film as a medium to elevate the voices of people with disabilities, spark meaningful conversations, and promote inclusivity in arts, media, and society.

Vision

A world where films created by and about people with disabilities are mainstream, celebrated, and drive global awareness, empathy, and accessibility in the arts.

Objectives

  1. Amplify Representation – Highlight films that showcase disability culture, talent, and diverse lived experiences.
  2. Create Opportunities – Provide a platform for disabled filmmakers and actors to present their work to wide audiences.
  3. Promote Inclusion in the Arts – Encourage film and media industries to adopt inclusive practices.
