Five years after bringing a Wayback Burgers franchise to Mint Hill, Anna Turovskaya is opening a second location in the Charlotte region.
Turovskaya has reached an agreement to open a new restaurant early next year in Waxhaw’s Prescott Village.
“As the owners of Wayback Burgers of Mint Hill, my husband and I are excited to grow our relationship with the Wayback Burgers brand by opening our second location in North Carolina,” Turovskaya said. “During our five years as Wayback Burgers franchisees, we’ve experienced exceptional customer service, strong local franchisee support and high-quality food from the brand.”
The new 2,000-square-foot location will be Wayback Burgers’ eighth restaurant in North Carolina, adding 30 jobs to the local economy. Its modern kitchen will be visible through glass windows. A pass-through will allow guests to see their food as it is being prepared. Furnishings will also include a variety of seating options, including upholstered banquettes, booths and floating community tables.
The brand specializes in made-to-order burgers, like The Cheeeesy, with four slices of melted American cheese and two beef patties sandwiched between an inverted, grilled and buttered bun.
The Mint Hill restaurant is located at 7014 Tutor St.
